Cytogenetics
Course Outline:
The theoretical and practical courses will study chromosome morphology and numbers using classical, banding, and molecular cytogenetics techniques. The importance of classical, banding, and molecular cytogenetics in diagnostics and research will be discussed.
Course outcome:
The students will be able to perform karyotyping interpret the FISH technique results and use their diagnostics and research skills.
Eligibility: Undergraduate or Postgraduate in Medicine, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology & Biochemistry.
Seats: 60 students/course. Selection of participants on a first come first serve basis through Merit, Screening test & Interview.
